  1. Slovenia's .si added to Domains and the home page sources

    Added daily counts of .si domains since July 2023, first on the Domains page. In late September the US government started to call AI "super intelligence", or SI, and registrations of .si, the domain of Slovenia, jumped after that. The count comes from the .si registry itself. .si also sits next to .ai near the top of the home page, and a new chart shows .ai and .si together as a share of all domains. Both share charts are now daily, so they run past Verisign's last quarterly total. Values below 1, such as these shares, now show two significant digits; the hover readout used to round them to 0.

  2. Every chart can be downloaded and embedded; GPT-6 and Opus 5.5 added sitemodels

    Each chart on a source page now has three more controls beside its share button. PNG downloads the chart as an image with its axes, the major model releases named, and the address of the page. CSV downloads the points the chart draws, without the month in progress. EMBED copies the code to put the chart on another site. Added release markers for GPT-6 Astra, GPT-6 Sol and Luna, Claude Fable 5.1, Opus 5.5, Sonnet 5.5, Gemini 3.8 Flash, Meta's Muse Spark, Muse Glimmer and Muse Spark 1.3, DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash, Grok 4.7, Cognition's SWE-2 and Inkling-Small. GPT-6 Astra is named on every chart. Six releases that carried only a month now carry their day. Also added Qwen3.8-Max, Mistral Medium 3.5, GLM-5.3-Flash, and Nemotron 3.5 Lightning from NVIDIA, which joins the roster.

  3. Both app stores added sources

    Two new sources. The first counts apps on the US App Store by the month they came out, and how many of them have AI in the name; Apple publishes no app counts, so the figures come from a fixed sample of the app ids in Apple's own sitemaps, about 80,000 listings. They cover apps still on the store today, so months from years back read low, and the share is the line to read rather than the count. The second counts Google Play — how many apps it lists, and how many arrive and leave each month. Google publishes none of that either, so those come from AppBrain rather than from Google. Google cut Play from about 2.8 million apps to 1.6 million between 2023 and early 2025; it is back to about 2.0 million now.

  4. Every chart has a share link site

    Each chart on a source page now has a share button. The link it gives shows that chart in the preview, not the source's headline chart, and opens the page at that chart.

  5. Equinix's chart fills in two missing years sources

    Equinix changed how it labels its spending in its filings with the SEC, so we now read the label it uses. Six quarters that were missing — the second half of 2016 and all of 2017 — arrive with it, and the note about them is gone. One older point, the third quarter of 2015, moves to the figure Equinix reported for that quarter on its own.

  6. Five models added to the rug models

    Added release markers for Gemini 3.7 Flash, Grok 4.6, Qwen3.8-Flash-Next, and GLM-5.2 and GLM-5.3 from Z.ai, which joins the roster.

  7. Nvidia's revenue, and California robotaxis sources

    Added what Nvidia sells, quarter by quarter, from the XBRL inside its own filings with the SEC: the data-centre line back to 2017, the gaming, visualization and automotive lines beside it, and the data-centre share of the whole company. Read it against the hyperscaler spending already here — the same money, counted as it leaves and again as it arrives. Added paid rides in a self-driving car in California, month by month, from the quarterly reports that Waymo and Cruise must file with the state: 3,753 trips in March 2022 and 1.35 million in June 2026, with the miles, the passengers, and the share of miles the cars drive empty.

  8. Every source page points at its neighbours site

    Each source page now ends with two or three related sources to read it against — hand-picked, not computed. Stack Overflow's decline sits beside GitHub's activity because they count the same people.

  9. Six new sources, six new models sourcesmodels

    Added hyperscaler capital expenditure from SEC company facts, AI mentions in annual reports, US imports of data-centre hardware, US data-centre construction spending, Ireland's data-centre share of metered electricity, and TSMC's monthly revenue. Added a verified-AI-bot share of traffic to Cloudflare. Added release markers for Claude Opus 5, Claude Fable 5, Kimi K3, DeepSeek-V4, Qwen3.6 and Mistral 3.

  10. Units on energy figures site

    Electricity series now state that their unit is MWh.

  11. Four sources on power, jobs and adoption sourcessite

    Added US electricity sales by state and sector (EIA), Indeed's job-postings and AI-mention trackers, the US Census biweekly survey of AI adoption by firms, and Eurostat's EU enterprise AI use. Added JOLTS openings, hires and layoffs to the BLS source. Sparklines on the home grid now share one time axis, so a series that starts in 2026 no longer fills the same width as one that starts in 2015. Clicking a widget now opens the card for that exact series.
