Daily figures from Indeed since 2019: the share of job postings that ask for AI skills in nine countries, and the US job-postings index for a few occupations against February 2020 = 100. Postings that ask for AI skills are at a record high. The occupation lines are a picture of hiring, not of AI — almost all of them peaked in early 2022, before ChatGPT, when interest rates started to rise.
