Daily figures from Indeed since 2019: the share of job postings that ask for AI skills in nine countries, and the US job-postings index for a few occupations against February 2020 = 100. Postings that ask for AI skills are at a record high. The occupation lines are a picture of hiring, not of AI — almost all of them peaked in early 2022, before ChatGPT, when interest rates started to rise. AI in job postings
This counts postings that name AI skills. The words include the older “Machine Learning” and “Data Science”. ⚠ The number of postings also fell, which lifts the share.
